• Public transports

 

Tramways, buses and trolleys run every 8 minutes (evening / weekends every 15min) and are the most convenient way to discover the city.

 

From the airport:

Tram 10 (direction Hauptbanhof) - 17min / 12 stations

 

From Zurich main station:

Tram 14 (direction Seebach) - 10 min / 7 stations 

Tram 10 (direction airport) - 14 min / 12 stations

 

The house is a 5-min walk away from the tram station Berninaplatz.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

• Car

 

Our house is one hour away from Basel (use highway nr. 1 up to Zürich Nord), 40 min. from Schaffhausen (highway nr. 4), and 3 hours from Geneva.

 

General advice: avoid if possible the city center, it is often congested and you can can easily get lost.

Don't forget that a 40 CHF Vignette is obligatory for the use of highways in Switzerland.

 

You can park directly in front of the house (blue-zone markings) but parking is free only from Monday to Saturday between 7:00pm and 8:00am as well as on all Sundays and public holidays.
